Welcome to DishCircle! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DishCircle's website, mobile application, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

4.2 Content Standards

You agree that your User Content will not:

• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Contain offensive, abusive, or hateful content
• Include personal information of others without consent
• Contain spam, advertising, or promotional material
• Misrepresent the source or authorship of content

5. Social Features

5.1 Friend Connections

DishCircle allows you to connect with other users as friends. When you connect with another user, you may be able to view their dish library and borrow dishes according to your privacy settings.

5.2 Dish Borrowing

The "borrow" feature allows you to add dishes from other users' libraries to your own. When you borrow a dish, proper attribution to the original user is maintained. You may not claim borrowed dishes as your own original content.

5.3 Community Conduct

When interacting with other users, you agree to:

• Be respectful and courteous to other community members
• Not harass, bully, or threaten other users
• Respect others' privacy and personal boundaries
• Give proper credit when borrowing or sharing dishes
• Report any violations of these Terms to us

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Collect or harvest personal information of other users
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Create multiple accounts to abuse the Service

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by DishCircle and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our express written permission.

8. AI-Generated Suggestions

DishCircle uses artificial intelligence to analyze your dish library and provide personalized meal suggestions. These suggestions are generated by automated systems and should be used as recommendations only. DishCircle does not guarantee the accuracy, nutritional value, or suitability of AI-generated suggestions for your specific dietary needs.

You are responsible for making your own informed decisions about meal preparation and consumption, including verifying ingredient safety, nutritional information, and dietary compatibility.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. DISHCIRCLE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DISHCIRCLE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease, and we may delete your account and User Content.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in the app.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on the Service and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
